When I try to open it I get " The file "calc" cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certifiate, or one of its components cannot be found. if the problem persits, try reinstalling or restoring the file" . The program worked prior to up grading. The only CD I have is the original 5.0 that came with the PDA. I am also having the same problem with the home button, I get the same message. Would either soft reset or a hard reset hellp? do not want to brick the unit that is why all the questions.
Any suggestions would be apreciated. " Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it is not digitally signed with a trusted certificate". I am using OS 5.0 at the present time. Also using the original Dell GPS CD's. Active sync is working fine. The PC OS is XP.
Is there a setting that I should change on the Axim?

But, it won't finish booting up. I tried a hard reset and it's the same thing. I did the diagnostics but everything passed. What would be the next step? Oh, it's still a factory dell rom. I think it's R12 but I can't check to be absolutely sure.

I'm thinking of flashing my x51v to dynomite ao2 version.I want to make sure i have the process right.i have the 2gb sd card with two files on it:
1)diad_k_axim51v_wm 6ide nbo file
2)diad_k aximx51v-wm6.1 ide crc file.
So do i need any more files and what would be the process from there?
