Question What's the largest SD/SDHC/CF card used with Lenny's ROM?

Just what the title says... I'm thinking of turning mine into mobile movie players for my kids, so I don't have to hook up the portable VD player when we head to the beach this year.

I have a 16gb CF and a 16gb SDHC cards in my X51V. I have about 50 movies compressed onto my CF card. Could have done the same thing with the SDHC card but thats where I have my music, pictures, ebooks, bibles, pdf files and any additional PC files I want to have with me at all times. I have played movies on my X15V with either card with no issues with video output. The only issue with the X15V would be the use of a head phone since the head phone jack has in several reports on this site stopped working after standard usage. This has happened to one of my X51Vs but I just use the internal speaker system.

I too had this problem with one of my x51v's and thought, Oh-Oh, this problem has bit me. However, when I re-flashed the ROM, it started working again. After using x51Mix, I realized that there is a separate volume control in it for the headphone. Now whenever my headphone jack stops working, I just adjust (lower) the headphone volume slider until it starts working again. So far it has worked every time and I luckily have not had a real hardware problem like others. I mention this in case it helps someone else who thinks it might be their hardware but isn't.

great, thanks for the input!

So, what format do you convert to for best space vs. quality ratio? I converted to the lowest quality AVI I could, only one angle and no other special features of the film and I was able to get The Incredibles down to 268MB...

I, personally, use SPB Mobile DVD and set it for the highest quality. The usual output is between 500 and 800 MBs for a full length movie.
