Problem: Need help setting up gps receiver and satnav software

Outgoing Com port is set for 7.

In GPS setting I have the program port set for Com 1.

Under the hardware tab I have the Incoming GPS port set for Com 4 with a baud rate of 4800.

I am not sure if 9600 will work or not. I have had success with 57600 working on my HTC Vogue. I do have the above setting working with TomTom & my Dell BT GPS receiver. You could try downloading HTC GPS Viewer or the Holux GPS Viewer as they let you change the incoming com port on the fly.

I remember way back when live search mobile was first launched & I had a hell of a time getting it configured with my GPS. You may have to keep experimenting. If you don't see any satalite activity after 10-15 minutes you probably won't with those sitting. Generally it is Com7 & Com 4 that are going to work.
