So I decided to flash to WM6 (L03) on my X51 (low) from the Dell A12. Everything seems to work fine. However, now I cannot connect to the wireless in my office (using an Ambicom WL11 SD card), when previously I could. I know the wireless router has MAC filtering, and I had added the SD card's MAC address to the router some time ago and it worked fine. Now I can't get on....
Any ideas? Or is this a bug with the L03 on the X51? Thanks.Last edited by Anil_Trinidad; 04-10-2010 at 07:33 PM.. |

Sorry - never mind - It seems to be working now. I connected to two wireless routers - one with MAC filtering and one that's unsecured. I'm not sure exactly what happened. I think a couple of reboots did the trick, and I put the settings to Open and no security. Only thing now is the microwave internet feed that I get to my installation is down.

Further update - Well my network is back up - and I can now connect to the router, and get on the web. I installed Opera Mini 5 - and it's quite sexy, I must say..I will continue to check various sites on Opera to see how it behaves. (I know the flash don't work on it though, and I live in Trinidad, so there's no Skyfire that I can access.
