Unhappy Help for a NUBEE

Hello everyone and thanks for the great forum.

I just bought an X51v on eBay that is running WM6.5 from HTC Geeks. I can't figure this thing out...
1) I can't seem to connect to my Wi-Fi at home... I can connect my laptop, Bluray, etc., but not my Axim. It just keeps displaying the "connecting" signal up top.
2) when I try to select the "Comm Mgr." it says the file cannot be opened...
3) Sounds and Notifications under the notifications tab, it just gives blanks...

What's wrong? I've tried soft and hard resets and have tried every option I can think of in configuring the Wi-Fi... Where am I going wrong?

Thanks again and sorry about the simpleton question, but I'm totally lost. I use a HTC Wing all the time, but this thing is eating my lunch.

Dave

UPDATE: I got the Wi-Fi to work and have used it at two different locations... I don't really care about the Comm Mgr link, but the notifications would be nice. Also I'm not able to sync with Windows 7. That's a big one, I bought the Axim just so I could run a WM app for my work and I need to sync it.... Any ideas?
